The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with the St Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Academy Trust, to recruit a Level Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for children with additional needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nurturing and values-led school community that places children’s wellbeing and development at the heart of everything it does.
We are looking for a Teaching assistant for a full time long term role to start ASAP and to continue for the academic year in a Bury Primary School.
While the primary focus will be on 1:1 support, some general classroom assistance may also be required.
The ideal candidate will:
Be kind, patient, and flexible, with a genuine passion for supporting children
Have experience working with children with additional needs (desirable)
Be confident working 1:1 and as part of a team
Demonstrate strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
Be reliable, proactive, and able to follow instructions while using initiative
Be supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school
